Add some Horsepower to your LS1 with your NEW SLP Air Lid!
Remove the Stock Air Lid. a) Undo the metal clips in the front of the air lid and pry out the plastic pins in the back. b) Undo the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) and Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors. c) Loosen the metal clamp around the rubber grommet intake hose attached to the MAF. d) Lift up and pull.
Remove the rubber grommet intake hose from the factory air lid.
Remove the washer that housed the IAT Sensor and insert it into the corresponding hole on your new SLP Air Lid.
I would suggest replacing your factory air cleaner with a K&N Air filter at this point.
Just put everything back together just like you took it apart.
