Out back we retained the 2000 TA rearend. The 4th gen rear bolts right in with out modifications. However, it is 3" wider then the 3rd gen rears. (1 1/2" on both sides). Our 3rd gen stock torque arm work perfeclty with the LS1 6-speed trans. We did use the 2000 TA aluminum drive shaft. Everything bolted up without any modifications.
We did upgrade the rotors to the BAER cross drilled and slotted type. We had the factory brake caliper powder coated red.
The e-brake setup is different on the 4th gen rear. The e-brake cable mounting brace is different. We had to remove the 3rd gen style e-brake cable plate and replace it with the 4th gen style.
