We used a 97 Corvette fuel rail. The 98-02 LS1 F-Body cars have a single inlet on the fuel system. All of the regulating is done at the tank on the 98-02 LS1 cars. The 97-98 Corvette fuel rail has both an inlet and a outlet. It also as the regulator on the rail similar to a TPI system.
In the tank we had to replace the TPI fuel pump. The TPI pump will not support the fuel pressure needed for the LS1. We used a Walboro 340 in tank pump. It is a simple swap.
We replaced the stock TPI fuel lines that are mounted on the body with new stainless lines. We made up some new body to fuel rail lines and used some adapaters to connect to the LS1 fuel rail.
